Claim your gift card

Before you're able to use your gift card, you'll need to claim it to your account. Here's how.

1. Unwrap your gift

Congratulations on receiving an On Me gift card! Make sure you're on the gift redemption page. You'll find a link to this page in the gift message you received. This may have been an email, a text message, a QR code on a printable gift, or a link sent directly to you from the sender.

This link will start with either https://gift.onme.com/... or https://onme.com/redeem/...

Read the note from the gift sender, the follow the guided steps that follow.

2. Create an account or sign in

Create an account with your name, date of birth, and phone number (US phone numbers only). We use your date of birth to confirm you're old enough for our service, and to verify your identity if you ever need to recover your account.

3. Send a thank you note

Add a personal note to let your sender know how much you appreciate their gift. If you skip this step, you can send messages, photos, and videos later through your Gift Thread! Sending a thank you note is optional, but recommended.

4. You're ready to spend!

At this point, you can use your 16-digit card number to shop in-store and online. To use your On Me gift card with Apple Pay® or Google Wallet™, you'll need the free On Me app. For more, check out our guide to spending your On Me gift card.
